Gemini is an AI-powered chatbot from Google that uses large datasets from web pages, books and other publicly available sources to predict and generate the most logical response to a prompt. It can be used to help:

• Brainstorm ideas
• Provide explanations and analyze 
• Information

Notebook LM 

NotebookLM is an AI-powered research assistant from Google that helps you organize and understand your own study materials, like PDFs, class notes, and slide decks. Unlike standard chatbots, it only uses the specific sources you provide to answer questions and create summaries, which helps prevent it from making up facts. 

To ensure interactions are secure and private, students must be signed in with their WRDSB accounts to use these tools. Students should seek clarification from their teacher before using a GenAI tool for schoolwork.
