About the Senior Team

The Senior Team represents the leadership for the WRDSB.

They are responsible for the strategic direction and daily operations of the WRDSB. This includes:

  • Monitoring the performance of schools and student achievement
  • Support administrators and schools in improving the achievement and well-being of all students
  • Providing leadership in the implementation and monitoring of the Strategic Plan
  • Identifying and providing specialized services for students
  • Administering and having oversight for the budget
  • Planning, constructing, operating and maintaining Board facilities
  • Negotiating collective bargaining agreements with staff unions
  • Implementing the policies of the Ministry of Education and the Board of Trustees
  • Fostering a collaborative service-oriented culture
    • One that nurtures productive working relationships with all stakeholders in the service of students
  • Consistently using evidence and research to:
    • Make informed decisions
    • Monitor implementation
    • Mobilize collective knowledge and know-how
    • Build a culture of shared accountability
