The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) recognizes that food insecurity is affecting our communities. We want families to be aware of the nutrition supports available for students in the Waterloo Region, both during and outside of school hours.

Nutrition for Learning (N4L)

When: During the school day
Registration: No registration required

N4L is a longstanding partner with WRDSB, serving almost every school in the WRDSB. N4L helps fund school-day food programs, ensuring no student is too hungry. They deliver fresh produce, proteins, and whole grain to schools each week.

N4L food programs are accessible and non-stigmatizing. This means any student who’s hungry, for any reason, can access food, no questions asked. Your child does not need to register for N4L to access food at school.
