Turning sod for the new Riverside PS

The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) held a groundbreaking ceremony at the new Riverside Public School site on Wednesday, September 9, 2015.

The new JK Р6 school will be built in the new development west of the present school building, located at 250 William Street. It will serve approximately 557 students and have a child care centre operated by the Region of Waterloo. Construction for the new Riverside PS will start this Fall, and is scheduled to open in September 2016.
