We are pleased to announce that Marlene Bennett, head of Guidance at Southwood S.S., received the Olive Diefenbaker Award of Merit this year from the Ontario School Counsellors Association. This award is given to a retiring Guidance Counsellor to recognize their dedication to the service of guidance and counselling in Ontario.

Marlene is retiring after 28 years of service to students at Southwood S.S. We want to congratulate Marlene on this award and wish her all the best and a very happy retirement!
