On Monday, September 28, 2026, at a Board Meeting of the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB), Trustees received a report initiating a boundary review process involving: 

  • Breslau Public School
  • Mackenzie King Public School
  • Stanley Park Public School

New Breslau-Hopewell Elementary School Boundary Review

The primary purpose of this boundary review is to establish an attendance area boundary for a new school currently under construction at 95 Loxleigh Lane, Breslau, in the Township of Woolwich. The school is tentatively scheduled to open in September 2027.

There will be no changes before June 2027.

Public Information Session – October 22, 2026

The voices of parents, families and caregivers are an important part of the Boundary Review process. To help us hear from you, a drop-in public information session will be held on:

  • When: Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
  • Where: Breslau Public School, 58 Joseph St, Breslau, ON N0B 1M0
