Take our Kids to Work Day is November 2
October 14th, 2016
Take Our Kids to Work day is a program designed for Grade 9 students to experience “A day in the life” of a profession or workplace. The goal of the program is to help Grade 9 students to make connections between school and the world of work, as they begin to think about possible career pathways. Grade 9 students may spend the day in the workplace of a parent, relative, friend or volunteer. This experiential learning program, supported by The Learning Partnership, takes place annually on the first Wednesday of November, which this year is Wednesday, November 2, 2016.
To find out more information about participating in the program, Grade 9 students or their parents should contact the Guidance Department at their school.
