Preston Public School is getting in the holidays by donating food and materials to the community. They are giving collected items to The Food Back of Waterloo Region and local shelters. The school did an amazing job at bringing items in; the halls are overflowing!

Last week, students brought in food for the food bank. Each day was a different food type, for instance: boxed, canned, and bagged items; desserts; and baby food. This week, items for local shelters were brought in. Some of these items included: books, hats, mitts, socks, games, P.J’s, teddy bears, toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap, and shampoo.

Together, the school community is helping to ensure that people get to have a wonderful Christmas and that no one will go hungry or without gifts. Preston should be so proud of all the giving they brought to their community. Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday!
