A group of 40 student leaders from Huron Heights Secondary School attended the Ontario Student Leadership Conference (OSLC) with over 2200 fellow leaders from across Ontario.
The Huskies were noticed every day for their outstanding ‘purple squad’ outfits and their now famous SIZZLE cheer. At the end of the 3-day conference, Huron Heights won the “Most School Spirit” award for representing their school and for building connections with others.
Bob Kline, Huron Heights student activities director and one of the trip’s supervisors, gave some insight as to how his students feel about being a Husky, “they are proud to be part of Waterloo Region where student activities thrive and are supported by school communities!”
