Last week, October 6 – 10, Central Public School organized a Thanksgiving Food Drive to help support the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank’s Fall Food Drive.
As a prize, the class who donated the most non-perishable items would win an ice cream party. Congratulations to Mrs. Cutchall’s 5/6 class for bringing in 185 items! However, without the effort of everyone involved, Central’s Food Drive wouldn’t have been such a success. They’ve helped many people in their community!
On Friday, the school donated 900 items (or 880 pounds) to the Fall Food Drive.
