Congratulations to Noah, a Sheppard Public School student, who became Junior Fire Safety Chief on June 6.

Noah entered a contest, sponsored by the City of Kitchener, answered some fire safety questions, and was the lucky winner! Noah and his class spent a special day with fire crews, and got a pizza party!

Noah got to get dressed up in firefighter gear, spray water from fire hoses, and set up the aerial ladder.

The Junior Fire Safety Chief contest coincides with Fire Prevention Month, and this year is also the 160th anniversary of fire service in Kitchener!

Congratulations to Noah, and his class at Sheppard PS!
