On Monday, June 9th, two special presentations took place at the Committee of the Whole Meeting:

Anne Brubacher and Rod Goetz from Rotary Club of Kitchener, presented Trustees with a cheque for $31,000. This money will help support a variety of programs in our schools. Thank you to the Rotary Club for their continued support of public education, and the WRDSB!

Shyanne Langer, a student at HHSS received the Dennis Daub Scholarship, and was presented with a cheque for $1500. Dennis Daub was an employee at the Education Credit Union, the scholarship was created when he retired. Congratulations to Shyanne!
