3000 – Trustee Honoraria

1. Purpose
The Waterloo Region District School Board, in compliance with the legislative requirements contained in O. Reg. 357/06: Honoraria for Board Members pay an allowance to trustees.
2. Application
The allowance to trustees is as follows:
2.1 a base amount of $5,900.00;
2.2 an amount calculated annually as the Board’s average day school enrollment multiplied by $1.75 and divided by the number of trustees.
2.3 In addition to the base amount:
2.3.1 the Chair of the Board shall receive an additional base amount annual honoraria of $5,000;
2.3.2 the Vice-Chair of the Board shall receive an additional base amount annual honoraria of $2,500.
