The Vista Hills Public School drumline brought music, energy and excitement to the kick-off of the Coldest Night of the Year event at Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute in Kitchener earlier this month.

As community members set out on their walk, the beat from their drums filled the air and set an energetic and warm tone for the fundraising walk in support of those in need in our community.

About Coldest Night of the Year

The Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving the community. Each year in February, tens of thousands of Canadians step outside the warmth and comfort of home to shine a light of welcome and compassion in their communities.

The Kitchener event fundraised to support the important work of the Ray of Hope Community Centre.
