As of July 14, anyone who is over the age of 18 years old is eligible for their second booster dose (fourth dose) of the COVID-19 vaccine. This provides an extra layer of protection against COVID-19.

Who Is Eligible for the Second Booster Dose?

Those over the age of 18 may choose to get a second booster:

  • Five months or 140 days after their first booster
  • A minimum of three months or 84 days after their first booster with informed consent

How To Get The Booster Shot

Eligible individuals can book their second booster at a Regional clinic:

The Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. They can provide TTY, and service in more than 300 languages.

Eligible individuals can also book an appointment directly through:

  • Indigenous-led vaccination clinics
  • Participating pharmacies

Appointments are based on availability, which may vary by region.
