Winston Churchill Public School is celebrating its 50th anniversary tomorrow (Saturday, April 30) from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

As part of the open house, the school has put together a 15 minute slideshow featuring a number of the initiatives Winston Churchill PS staff and students did in the fall. At 1:30 p.m., former Winston Churchill PS Principal Mary Johnston will give an address to those attending.

Other special guests who will be in attendance to celebrate this wonderful milestone are WRDSB Vice-Chairperson John Hendry and the Honourable Bardish Chagger, P.C., M.P.

All past and present staff, students and families are welcome and encouraged to come – just maybe, you’ll connect with someone you have lost touch with! But remember, you don’t need to be an alumni to join in on the fun.
