This morning a gas smell was detected in the gym Hespeler PS. Board staff were sent to the school to investigate.

It was discovered that there was damage to a roof top unit at the school. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of damage. The unit has been turned off, and the Fire Department has given the all clear, and students have returned to their classes.
