Brigadoon Public School has been doing many great things as a school community!

Students, parents, and staff joined together to donate toonies and food items for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, one of several food drives the school holds throughout the year. Families also generously donated 166 gifts to the Angel Tree of Giving for boys and girls across the region; items included toys, puzzles, games, and clothing items.

During their annual seasonal concert, Brigadoon’s Global Leaders club organized a bake sale. Those students and their families provided baked goods to sell at the concert and over $700 was raised! It is just one more initiative that gets Brigadoon closer to its goal of building a school abroad.

Last, but certainly not least, Ms. Patrick and her grade 6 class held Brigadoon’s annual Super Seasonal Sale. Students and staff were asked to donate gently used toys and household items for the sale, giving students, staff and visitors an opportunity to do some holiday shopping for family and friends. A grand total of $1,911 was raised for Sunbeam Lodge, a residential care and treatment facility for physically challenged infants, children and young adults with mild to very severe medical, cognitive and developmental challenges.

Brigadoon PS would like to thank everyone who contributed making these events so successful and carrying on the spirit of giving.
