J. W. Gerth Public School just wrapped up their “10 Days of Christmas” charity drive and the donations were overwhelming! Over the 10 days, their generous families donated the following:

- 175 coats for babies, children and adults for the St. Marks Church outreach program
- 348 hats, socks and mitts for oneROOF Youth Services – Reaching Our Outdoor Friends
- 275 toys for infants, children and teens for the Waterloo Knights of Columbus Hall toy drive
- 249 emergency items for Anselma House in Kitchener
- 203 items for the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society
- 462.00 in toonies for the Doon Community Food Collection
As always, the J. W. Gerth PS community shows unbelievable generosity, which will help others in need this holiday season; they appreciate all of their support. A special “Thank You” to the teachers who organized this year’s drive, and many thanks to everyone for making this year as special and generous as last year.
