Hespeler Public School takes their commitment to the Terry Fox Walk very seriously. They are serious about raising money for cancer research, and they are serious about having fun while they do it. After five days of coin collection, their fundraising goal of $2000 was reached and surpassed, with a final total of $2900 being raised for The Terry Fox Foundation.
As a reward for reaching their goal, principal Ms. Lobsinger and vice-principal Mr. Coates followed through on their promise of being the school’s ‘Fairy Godparents for a day’. Dressed in tutus, wings, and wands, the duo spent the whole day visiting classes, meeting with parents, and spreading their fairy goodness all over the school. Amazing spirit and generosity was shown by one and all.
