As a result of a water main break, Central Public School will be closed today, Monday, February 2, 2026.
Facility Services staff are working as quickly as possible to address the situation. While they complete this work, the school will be closed to students and staff. Staff will continue to evaluate the situation and will provide updates as they become available, with the goal of opening the school safely and as quickly as possible.
Student learning will continue through asynchronous learning resources from their virtual learning environment, where applicable. Students may also work on previously assigned work or spend time reviewing material previously covered. Students are invited to participate as they are able.
