To mark Firefighters’ National Memorial Day on Sunday, September 8, flags at all Ontario government buildings, including Waterloo Region District School Board schools and offices, will be flown at half-mast this weekend.
Firefighters’ National Memorial Day was instated by the Government of Canada in 2017 and is recognized annually on the second Sunday of September.
