Westheights Public School will be closed today, February 2. Please monitor the school website for updates.

Late yesterday afternoon, our school experienced a water main break. Facility Services and staff from Kitchener Utilities have been working and will continue working throughout the morning to address the situation. While they complete this work, the school building will be closed to students and staff. Staff will continue to evaluate the situation and will provide updates as they become available with the goal of opening the school safely and as quickly as possible.

Student learning will continue. Students are asked to log in to their virtual classrooms to access their learning for the day. Educators will be available throughout the school day to support student learning during the regular school day hours in their Virtual Classrooms. Students are invited to participate as they are able.

Additional online resources will also be available via WRDSB@Home.
