UPDATE: The Lockdown at Jacob Hespeler PS is lifted. Students are being dismissed.
The Hold and Secure at Centennial PS is lifted. Classes will continue as normal until dismissal time.
Classes will continue tomorrow as normal at Jacob Hespeler.
Thank you to our partners at Waterloo Regional Police for keeping our school communities safe.
Update 1:44 pm: JHSS is currently in lockdown. This is a precautionary measure following an email that was threatening in nature. All students & staff are safe. Police are on site. Will update when we have more information.
Centennial PS in Cambridge is also in a HOLD and SECURE as a precautionary measure.
Jacob Hespeler Secondary School is currently in a HOLD & SECURE. There is an increased police presence at the school. We are working with our partners at the Waterloo Regional Police Service and will provide an update when we have more information.
