Please be advised that a hold and secure was issued and lifted by the Waterloo Regional Police Service for Riverside Public School in Elmira due to an investigation in the area. At the time, no one was allowed to enter or exit the building while the school was in a hold and secure. All students and staff were safe inside the school.

During these situations, we want to remind families to refrain from calling the school during a hold and secure as our staff’s main priority is to keep our students and staff safe. We will update this web post, Twitter and Facebook as more details become available.
