Update – At approximately 2:35 p.m, the lockdown was lifted at Tait Street Public School by Waterloo Regional Police Service. 

Please be advised that a lockdown has been issued for Tait Street Public School, while the police deal with an incident on school property. Students will not be released from their classrooms until Waterloo Regional Police Service have lifted the lockdown.

All students and staff are safe. We will update this web post, Twitter and Facebook as more details become available.
