For the past 18 years, students at Crestview Public School have been raising money to support families in their community. The annual Canadian Tire Money Drive raises funds to purchase toys for Crestview Public School families that could use some extra support over the holidays. Any money left over is used to buy winter boots, coats, hats, mittens, running shoes and backpacks for students.

This year, the Grade 5/6 French Immersion class organized the fundraiser. For two weeks, they collected and counted donations, and then had the pleasure of going shopping at Canadian Tire to pick out gifts for the families. Students raised over $1,417 which will go a long way in supporting 21 families and 41 children.

Thank you Crestview students for showing us the true spirit of giving this holiday season.
