Family Math Night at Smithson Public School had an A+ attendance record with an overwhelming response from students and their parents!
This hands-on, interactive event had more than 15 math activity stations everybody could enjoy, ranging from a reading nook with math books to problem-solving games that involved everyday math. The drop-in style evening proved to be a great way for families with varying schedules to participate in the fun and learning.
Based on the excitement, the Math Night really engaged the Smithson PS community, allowing students and parents to learn in an inclusive environment and ask questions to the many teachers and staff who were on hand to help out.
Thank you to all the Smithson PS staff and volunteers who made the night polynomial!
