The Waterloo Region District School Board has approved the 2011-12 school year budget at a special board meeting held last night.
Board Chair Kathleen Woodcock indicated, “The budget process is a complicated and time consuming one. All staff have worked diligently to ensure that this budget of over $600 million is balanced and continues to support our students in their learning journey.”
