The Social Justice Initiative (SJI) at Forest Glen Public School is not a club – it’s a movement!

In support of Free the Children’s We Scare Hunger campaign, the SJI motivated the school community and collected a total of 1477lbs of food – 300lbs more than last year! The initiative also supported a very successful Coats for Kids drive launched by Forest Glen’s grade three to five classes.

This month, the SJI is supporting grade two students in their launch of a Toy Drive, selling Beanie Babies in support of the Ronald McDonald House, and Rafikis in support of Free the Children. In addition, the SJI would like to thank the intermediate students as they collect food and goods for Christmas hampers.

Forest Glen PS is all about making a difference, and with the help of students and staff, the Social Justice Initiative is changing lives. Great work, Falcons!
