Preston Public School engaged the entire school community with it’s Terry Fox day. The day with an hour in the sunshine running and walking around the block and playground. The event was followed up with an assembly featuring the accomplishments of Terry Fox and his Marathon of Hope. The rest of the day was dedicated to recreation activities supported by staff and many community volunteers. It was a wonderful day of raising awareness for cancer and community building.
Thanks to everyone’s efforts, Preston PS raised over $2100 for cancer research!
