Last night, the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) Board of Trustees came together for the final meeting of this term and we took this opportunity to bid farewell to the outgoing Trustees.

We want to express our sincere appreciation for the outgoing members of the WRDSB Board of Trustees, which includes:

  • Jayne Herring
  • Karen Meissner
  • Carol Millar
  • Kathi Smith (resigned September 2022)
  • Laurie Tremble
  • Crystal Whetham

Both WRDSB Staff and fellow Trustees shared their immense gratitude for their tireless commitment to supporting student learning over the past four years. This includes their leadership in guiding the WRDSB through an unprecedented global pandemic, through which they continued to prioritize the continuity of student learning and well-being above all else.

On behalf of the WRDSB, we want to wish them all the best as they set out on their new journeys which will, no doubt, continue to see them serving their communities with the same dedication they demonstrated as WRDSB Trustees.
