Today marks the 24th Bisexual Visibility Day. It’s an opportunity to:

  • Celebrate the bisexual community
  • Highlight the challenges they continue to face, including biphobia

Bisexual Visibility Day in the WRDSB

Marked first in 1999, this day is to raise awareness and is a call to action in support of the bisexual community. In the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB), we aim to create environments in our schools and workplaces that are welcoming and safe for every member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

WRDSB staff are supported in creating inclusive and respectful schools and workplaces. They are provided a variety of resources and supports offered at schools and centrally by the Equity & Inclusion Team. Every member of the WRDSB has a role to play in creating a school system where all students feel seen, heard, and respected.
