This year the Educational Assistants Association Appreciation Award Selection Committee was pleased to announce the nomination of 5 remarkable individuals for this year’s award. The nominees were Cris Alderete from Glenview Park S.S., Christine Townsley from Grand View P.S., Cathy Scheerer from Huron Heights S.S., Donna Dammeier from Linwood P.S. and Sandra Yantzi from Forest Glen P.S. After much consideration, we are pleased to announce that the winner is Donna Dammeier from Linwood Public School. Donna will receive her award on Tuesday, May 28th at the EAA Spring Dinner at St. George Hall in Waterloo.

We would like to thank this year’s selection committee members for their terrific work; the members are Jan Schuett, Ramona Ganyu, Ruth Anne Bowman, Charlene Wastell, Joanne Hodge, Deb Healy and Kiki Bamberger.
