In the Waterloo Region District School Board sponsors often provide financial assistance to students of a specific school. In many cases you do not have to apply for these awards. Your marks in a certain subject or a teacher’s recommendation are all that is required. For some programs, an application is required. Each guidance department has a counsellor that looks after all scholarship and bursary information. Check with your school counsellor to get this information.
