Reminder: On October 24, WRDSB is hosting a public information session regarding the New South Kitchener Elementary School Boundary Review, involving: 

  • Brigadoon Public School
  • Doon Public School
  • Groh Public School
  • JW Gerth Public School
  • Pioneer Park Public School

New South Kitchener Elementary School Boundary Review

The primary purpose of this new Boundary Study is to establish an attendance area boundary for a new school which is planned to be constructed at 670 Thomas Slee Drive in the City of Kitchener. The school is tentatively scheduled to open in September 2025.

There will be no changes before June 2025.

Public Information Session – October 24, 2024

The voices of families and caregivers is an important part of the Boundary Review process. To help us hear from you, a public meeting will be held:

  • When: October 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. 
  • Where: J W Gerth Public School at 171 Apple Ridge Dr, Kitchener, ON N2P 0A1, Canada

The meeting will be a drop-in, open house style format.
