Students at Central Public School had the opportunity to try a sport that is ‘sweeping’ the nation. Canadian Olympic ice dancers Andrew Poje and Kaitlyn Weaver recently paid a special visit to Bluevale Collegiate Institute to share their personal story of passion, dedication, adversity, and triumph. It was a homecoming for Poje, who graduated from Bluevale in 2005 and was voted “most likely to go to the Olympics” by his high school peers. […]

For the past 16 days, staff and students across the WRDSB have been getting into the spirit of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games. Many of our schools hosted their own games, some had past Olympians come share their stories, and some just wanted to watch hockey! Go Canada Go!
