We are committed to a culture of consultation and transparency with the communities we serve. As such, our process for policy review and input includes regular feedback opportunities from the community.

About the Policy Review Process

Policies under review will be communicated on the WRDSB website. Opportunities to provide feedback through this process will occur twice a year.

Input will be reviewed by both:

  • The staff responsible for drafting the policy
  • The Board of Trustees’ Policy Working Group
  • The Board of Trustees

Please note that decisions regarding policy revisions are based on a number of factors including but not limited to:

  • The WRDSB Strategic Plan
  • Current Federal, Provincial and Municipal legislation

All policy revisions must be approved by the Board of Trustees.
