Preston Public School has officially unveiled the completed first phase of their Preston Panda Greening Initiative with a ribbon cutting ceremony, with the help of City of Cambridge Councillor, Mike Mann.
After months of fundraising and construction, Mr. West, Preston PS principal, welcomed the school community and its donors to their celebration. He took the opportunity to recognize their donors for their contributions, and thank the school’s parent and school community for their support and generosity.
A big thank you to the five major community organizations and businesses that contributed to the Panda Greening Initiative:
- TD Friends of the Environment Foundation
- Cambridge and North Dumfries Community Foundation
- Toyota Evergreen School Grounds Greening Program
- Cambridge Toyota
- Isley Landscaping
However, without the help of everyone involved, the playground wouldn’t look as great as it does! Now, let the learning and playing begin!
