We are so excited to share that Waterloo Collegiate Institute (WCI) Grade 10 Extended French student, Matea Ceric, won silver at the 31st Concours d’art oratoire, an annual French public-speaking event organized by Canadian Parents for French (Ontario) and the Ontario Modern Language Teachers’ Association.

Matea was presented her award by Jean-Marc Michalik, Canadian boxing athlete with the Toronto 2015 Pan Am & Parapan Am Games, Mary Cruden, President of Canadian Parents for French (Ontario), and Jennifer Rochon, President of the Ontario Modern Language Teachers’ Association at York University’s bilingual campus, Glendon College, Toronto.
