On Monday, April 15, 2024, at a Committee of the Whole Meeting of the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB), Trustees will receive a report requesting that a boundary review process be approved that will include the following schools:
- Brigadoon Public School
- Doon Public School
- Groh Public School
- JW Gerth Public School
- Pioneer Park Public School
On Wednesday, April 24, Trustees may ratify the decision to start the boundary review during the Board Meeting.
Refer to the April 15 Committee of the Whole Meeting Agenda to read the report to Trustees.
Regardless of the Board of Trustees’ decision, there will be no changes before June 2025.
In the interest of transparency and engagement of families and caregivers, WRDSB will continue to keep the public informed throughout this process. If Trustees approve the start of the New South Kitchener Elementary School Boundary Review, there will be opportunities for families and caregivers to share their input during public information sessions. More details about the process will be provided at that time.
