The Waterloo Region District School Board shares our condolences and deepest sympathies with the Filipino communities following the devastating tragedy in Vancouver at the Lapu-Lapu Day Block Party. 

 We hold the families who have lost loved ones and the many who were injured in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. 

This event will impact students, staff, families and caregivers across Waterloo Region and as a school board we will continue to use a trauma-informed and responsive approach to create compassionate school communities that support WRDSB  students, staff families and caregivers.
