Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region (STSWR )is responsible for communicating all decisions with respect to severe weather to the media, school bus operators, transit authorities and taxi companies.

Children will remain indoors when:
Temperature is colder than -20 with the wind chill factor or extremely icy in the winter and in warmer weather adhere to WRDSB Administrative Procedure Sun Safety and Shading Staff will observe students to determine if students are too warm or too cold and need to come inside and support children to ensure that they are appropriately dressed for the weather.
