The Draft Final Report of the New South Kitchener Elementary Boundary Review is now available. Input on the report can be submitted until December 2, 2024. The Final Report will be presented at the Committee of the Whole meeting on Monday, December 9, 2024.

Background

On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at a Board Meeting of the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB), Trustees approved the initiation of a boundary review involving:

  • Brigadoon Public School
  • Doon Public School
  • Groh Public School
  • JW Gerth Public School
  • Pioneer Park Public School

Review Purpose

The primary purpose of this boundary review is to establish an attendance area boundary for a new school planned to be constructed at 670 Thomas Slee Drive in the City of Kitchener. The school is tentatively scheduled to open in September 2025.
