Like all Broader Public Sector organizations, WRDSB is required to report to the Ontario Ministries of Education and Natural Resources on its energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in a variety of ways.
5-year Energy Conservation and Demand Management Plans
Every 5 years, an Energy Conservation and Demand Management Plan is created that layouts out goals for the next 5 years and reports on progress from the last 5 years. This plan was last published in 2019 and lays out energy conservation goals for the 2022-2023 school year and how they will be reached.

The annual energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from each school are also reported to the Ministry of Energy. This data is available in the following reports:
