October 15, 2014 Update on Surplus Property Circulation

Of the four properties circulated (under Regulation 444/98) on July 11, 2014, the following two properties have failed to yield any Offers and will be available for sale pending clearance from the Minister of Education:

•    Former Lincoln Avenue Public School building and property
      77 Lincoln Avenue, Cambridge, ON
      Approximately 4.36 acres

•    Vacant site on St. Andrews Street, Township of North Dumfries (Cambridge) ON
      (Coleman Farm 2)
      5.93 acres (subject to survey)

On October 15, 2014, the Ministry of Education was advised that the July 11, 2014 circulation process yielded no offers and approval was requested to enable the Board to proceed to offer these two surplus properties for sale to any other public or private interest.

This website will be updated when clearance is given from the Minister of Education, to advise how these properties will be sold.

The following two surplus properties have yielded Offers from identified government agencies through the circulation process (under Regulation 444/98) and the Board is currently reviewing those offers:

•    Former Alison Park Public School vacant site
      30 Lauris Avenue, Cambridge, ON
      Approximately 3.79 acres

•    Former Dickson Public School building and property
      65 St. Andrew’s Street, Cambridge, ON
      Approximately 1.01 acres
