On March 26, 2015 we celebrated the official opening of the new addition at Manchester PS with a ribbon cutting. The school received a new two-story addition that included new Full-Day Kindergarten classrooms, a new library, new main office, and an elevator, as well as other upgrades to make the school accessible.

Kingsland+ Architects and Devlan Construction were on hand to celebrate the hard work that went into making this new addition. School superintendent Lila Read and project coordinator Mel Lavoie were also on hand for the celebration. Chairperson Kathleen Woodcock and Manchester PS principal Paul Schlegel had the honour of cutting the ribbon to officially open the new addition.

The staff and students at Manchester PS love the new addition to their school, and enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate with those who made it happen.
