Welcome to the 2022-23 Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) Secondary Remote Learning Program (SRLP). We are incredibly excited to welcome students back to our Remote Learning classrooms this year.

Our Remote Learning Program is committed to creating caring and engaging virtual learning environments while also building connections with the students’ home schools.

Our teachers want to know their students, so the Remote Learning program will begin with a focus on building relationships and connecting with students and families. Over the course of the semester, the SRLP will allow our students to pursue individual learning pathways that reflect their interests, develop skills for the future, and inspire global citizenship.

Having the right tools for Remote Learning is a top priority. Our staff will also help ensure access to the resources needed by the students. Teachers will spend the first days of class ensuring that families have the appropriate and necessary technology and resources, establishing routines and ensuring the students gain familiarity with the WRDSB Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

Students, parents and caregivers are encouraged to continue to reference this website throughout the school year, to ensure they have the latest information regarding the SRLP.
