The lead level for the following fixtures have exceeded the provincial drinking water standard of 10 ug/L(micrograms per litre).

Flushed result: 14.3 ug/L
Fixture Number: WSH-06 drinking fountain / bubbler (work area 2, fix reference #2A)

Standing result: 14.9 ug/L
Flushed result: 5.5 ug/L
Fixture Number: WSH-11 drinking fountain / bubbler (work area 10, fix reference #10A)

Standing result: 61.6 ug/L
Flushed result: 17.5 ug/L
Fixture Number: WSH-14 hydration station bottle filler (corridor by gym, fix reference #103)

Standing result: 11.2 ug/L
Flushed result: 1.3 ug/L
Corrective action:
- Flush ALL drinking water fixtures daily;
- Permanently render fixture WSH-04 and WSH-11 unusable for drinking (bagged them)
Next steps:
Carry out site-specific risk assessment activities including additional sampling. Replace and / or permanently remove all old drinking water fixtures (similar to ones that the results have exceed the standard) and sample the new fixtures.
