Congratulations to Laurentian Public School’s very own Carolyn Mills on being nominated for 2018 Blue Spruce Award. Her picture book, The Little Boy Who Lived Down The Drain, has been nominated for this annual distinction through the Ontario Library Association’s Forest of Reading program.

Mills describes The Little Boy Who Lived Down the Drain as “a picture book about a little girl who feels lost in her busy family. When she discovers there is a little boy who lives down the drain, she believes she has finally found a friend who will listen to her without interrupting. It’s a story about family, imagination, and relationships with a little twist at the end.”

We are excited to celebrate this momentous achievement of such a talented author and teacher. Congratulations, Carolyn Mills.
